About Us

We are an indie video game studio of family and friends based in Hampshire in the United Kingdom. We’ve come from a variety of professional backgrounds to bring our own brand of innovative gameplay and pun-based humour to players that get a kick out of games that make you read, think, and laugh. And stress a bit. We are currently focused on titles that harness the power of local co-operative gaming; whether it’s through a PC and PDF, or puzzles on paper.

To date, we’ve developed five video games and a series of literary logic puzzles.


Who We Are

Ryan Javanshir Twitter

Ryan Javanshir

Ryan is a software engineer who has extensive experience developing games from ideation to release, including Into Blue Valley (2014) as well as Propulsion Games’ existing titles. Ryan has a PhD in Transmedia Storytelling.

Matt Javanshir

Matt is a composer and sound designer who has worked with numerous developers to contribute audio for over a decade. Matt also had a 15 year career working within finance at J.P.Morgan Chase & Co, most notably in data analytics for the Internal Audit function.

James Nutting

James is a writer and game designer who is a production management veteran in the traditional studio system (on both the development and publishing sides), including Mediatonic and Epic Games Publishing.

We collaborate with a number of other awesome folks to help bring our games to life. They include: Lucy Javanshir (a graphic designer who provides design services via Lumetrica), Karla Pett (a marketing professional with over a decade’s experience in full spectrum marketing and publishing), and other friends and family who kindly help us with playtesting and feedback!
